Wiggle has signed an exclusive deal with Lightweight Wheels, one of the world’s finest manufacturers of carbon wheelsets.

The deal makes Wiggle the UK’s only distributor of Lightweight Wheels, which are renowned for their high build quality and seemingly impossible balance of stiffness, lightness, aerodynamics and toughness.

In Which? magazines biggest ever online shopping survey they covered 51 websites across eight categories. it included everything you need to know about returns policies and your rights when shopping online.

Over the last few months we have been updating some of the Focus Bike images on wiggle.co.uk. I’ve often heard and read the phrase ‘The pictures on the wiggle site do not do the bikes justice’ - which is right - the bikes have an awesome finish and it’s hard to get that across in a studio photo.

So we came up with a simple solution to give a better look at the bikes - our new hi-res photo collages.

You may say ‘meh… that just looks like you wheeled the bike out in front of your warehouse and took a few photos…’ and you would be right. That is exactly what we have done and that is what it looks like!

We wanted to show you true-to-life pictures. In natural light, outdoors, with no fancy effects or enhancements. It is how the bike will look when you get it home and take it out the box - and hopefully that’s what we all want to see!

However I am still working on persuading the Wiggle chiefs to let me take the 2009 range out to Whistler to get a nicer back drop in the shot - wish me luck!

A new product on the site is Udderly Smooth Cream. Originally developed as a cream for cows and the effects of chafing through milking the udder cream is now more commonly used on humans and in fact counts for 90% of sales.

Tri247 Triathlon website have just reviewed the Orca S2 wetsuit and it has come in with flying colours. The price, comfort, flexibility and fit were all commented on in the usual 247 no holds barred way.

Tri247 says: the old adage is that you get what you pay for and, given that you’ve only paid £99.99, we reckon you’ve probably got a bit more than that as well. With all the major suit vendors looking to get into the bottom half of the £100 to £200 segment with an entry-level suit in an attempt to satisfy the first time market it’s interesting to see how they differentiate their offerings from the S2. The reality is that there isn’t much difference at all - based on last year’s tests where all the suits swam to with a very small degree of difference we suspect the same will be true at the bottom end of the market. How much, for a novice, is that notional ten seconds worth? £30? £40? £50?

If you are looking for a cheap, first-time suit and you don’t want to pick up a second-hand one or hire for the year then S2 is made for you. As to whether it’s the right suit for you in terms of fit may be a different matter - fit is just as important here as it is in a £350 suit. Buying over the internet may be the only element of risk here if the size is wrong - but Wiggle’s policy on changing suits for a different size is the same as anybody else; just keep it in mint condition and mind those fingernails.

To ensure the longevity of the S2 Wetsuit, Orca have created a ‘how to’ video starring Chris McCormack. This shows the correct way of putting on the wetsuit, although we’d recommend using the carrier bag or even latex gloves on your hands. This is due to fingernails being the main cause of any accidental damage and this will unfortunately not be covered under your warranty
